Essentials of Buddhism: 4-Week Class

Next session: Februrary 2012 

First Four Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

(February 1, 8, 15, 22)

Come and learn about Buddhist teachings and practices, with special attention paid to textual tradition and its relation to a living religion/practice. The course will combine lecture and class discussion. Each class will conclude with a meditation session. Course outline: Siddhartha Gautama; the Four Noble Truths & Eight-Fold Path; Buddhist Concepts; historical development of Buddhism; and Buddhism in America.
Suggested donation is $25; however, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
